25 August 2024 — Over the last 6 years I have been involved in a film and video project that has been the most challenging of my career. It has been a deep dive into the political uses of dehumanization, genocide and massacre, with a primary focus on the life of Jacques Semelin, one of the world’s leading authorities on these subjects.
This work has included the collection of 1,000s of stories, and 1,000s of articles and other material, much of it impossible to include in my film and videos.
But over the years I have shared as much of these materials as I can in this series of blog posts.
I have linked to an article which is featured in the current issue of Harper’s magazine and its subject in the title of this post: Holocaust tourism.
