4 March 2019 (Paris, France) – I have been so damn busy these last few weeks I have neglected the tsunami of workshops, writing programs, and other literary events that are overflowing my Inbox. I shall endeavour to catch up this week.
In partnership with Carve Magazine, Writing Workshops Dallas is delighted to present “WRITING WORKSHOPS PARIS”, an unparalleled experience for writers looking to immerse themselves in literary history, community, and inspiration in the heart of literary Paris from July 21 – 26, 2019.
APPLICATIONS DUE BY MARCH 15, 2019
For six days and five nights, writers will reside at the centrally-located, 4-star HOTEL BELLOY and participate in small-group workshops, seminars on the craft and business of writing, and a variety of guided evening activities to discover the magic of Paris, old and new.
The nonfiction workshop is led by award-winning New York Times columnist DIANA SPECHLER (GQ, Harper’s, Esquire, Tin House, Paris Review) and the fiction workshop is led by 2018 National Book Award finalist BRANDON HOBSON. Workshops will be kept intentionally small, no more than 8-10 each, to ensure an intimate and quality environment.
In addition to workshops, participants will have one-on-one conferences with faculty and have ample opportunity to interact with program staff members. An amazing lineup of evening activities will be led by former general manager of the Fat Tire Bike Tours in Paris.
Visit the WRITING WORKSHOPS PARIS website to learn how you can apply by March 15th for the fiction or nonfiction workshop and uncover newfound inspiration in the City of Lights.
