17 January 2019 (Paris, France) – Rob Robinson is best known for his blog Complex Discovery, a blog that I think I can safely say is THE reference point for anybody in the electronic discovery ecosystem: it provides legal and technology professionals with the most comprehensive source of information and updates on eDiscovery and technology, highlighted by Rob’s own insight and intelligence. Scores of my readers say Complex Discovery and its solutions have provided them strategic planning and tactical execution expertise.
And who is better placed? Rob is one of the top technology marketers in this business, having held senior leadership positions with multiple top-tier data and legal technology providers. He has done it all: from product development and product management to roles such as Chief Marketing Officer and Chief Operating Officer across the biggest names in the business: Compaq Computer, Crossroads Systems, ONSITE3, Orange Legal Technologies, CloudNine, to name but a few. He is now Chief Marketing Officer for HaystackID which has been involved in a flurry of acquisitions which include Envision Discovery, Inspired Review and earlier this week, eTERA Consulting.
It is very rare for Rob to have the camera pointed at him, to be the focus of attention. He is very much a “behind the scenes” guy so my Project Counsel Media team jumped at the opportunity to catch-up with Rob last summer at ILTA. They chatted about his deep background in the technology industry, developments he has seen in e-discovery technology, the trends in mergers & acquisitions, and his work at Haystack HaystackID. Oh, and a bunch of other stuff. Please give it a look:
